PhD Retreat

The Annual PhD Symposium of the Biozentrum aims to foster the graduate culture in our institute, to promote scientific and personal exchange between the students and to provide an opportunity to see science from a wide-angle perspective. We are excited to announce our forth PhD Symposium. This year it will take place in

Bern, Switzerland, on the 28th and 29th of June.

Each attending student will present his or her project in the form of a poster or a short talk. Furthermore, we will have two keynote lectures, given by Angela de Fougeroux, the district manager for Eastern Europe of Affymetrix and an academic speaker(TBA), who will talk about their career in science. 

As this is a unique opportunity to combine socializing and science, there will also be a PhD Party on Thursday night and additional social activities. 

In order to register you need to provide an abstract (max. 200 words) and a profile picture. Registration is open until the end of February.
