In a dark and distant past I studied Quantum fields in curved
spacetimes for my Master's thesis project with Robbert
Dijkgraaf. In particular I looked at black hole radiation and
the so called information problem. Although I haven't followed
the field much since then I am fairly certain that this specific
problem is no longer of much interest. But I think there is some
discussion regarding the general problems with quantum fields in
curved spacetimes that might be fun to read for somebody looking
for an introduction into these matter. discussed in this thesis are
