NCCR AntiResist – Fellowship Call 2022

The National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) AntiResist is a Swiss-wide research consortium funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). AntiResist aims to tackle the global spread of antibiotic resistance, a problem of strategic and international importance. To reach this goal, AntiResist has assembled a panel of experts in the fields of clinical research, infection biology, chemistry, computation, engineering and pharmacology.

Researchers from the Biozentrum of the University of Basel, the University Hospital Basel and the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) of ETH Zurich at Basel work in close proximity to each other at the Life Science Campus in Basel. Additional research groups are located at the ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, the University Hospital Zurich, the EPFL Lausanne, the University of Lausanne and the Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva, Israel.

NCCR AntiResist aims to train the next generation of researchers and clinicians in infectious diseases using novel interdisciplinary approaches. For this aim, NCCR AntiResist awards unique Fellowships in Antibiotic Discovery.
