This lecture series offers a broad coverage of pathogen - host interactions, their implementation in disease prevention by vaccination and underlying concepts. 
These topics can comprise fundamental immunological perspectives on infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria or parasites as well as cancers.
Basic and applied virology, practical aspects of vaccination but also the molecular principles underlying the design, manufacturing, and application in the field will occasionally be touched on.
