How to become an IMCF user
Becoming a platform user
- Meeting with the IMCF staff to discuss the project and define the optimal instrument.
- Participating at the instrument specific introduction (Mandatory)
- Submitting a microscope related project description to the staff (Mandatory)
- Passing an instrument specific test. It is required that the user comes with own samples. (Mandatory)
Once all of these steps were completed and the user has registered him/herself in the IMCF booking system, the user account will be activated and the physical key will be added to the list of users that can work alone. If an already registered user requires access to an additional instrument, steps 1-4 need to be repeated.
As an IMCF User, we expect you to be aware of our guidelines about proper handling of our microscope systems, data storage, insurance issues, rules, fees, etc.
All work performed at the IMCF must confer to these guidelines. Please read the guidelines carefully.
