Assistant/Associate Professor in Structural Biology and Biophysics

The Biozentrum of the University of Basel in Switzerland invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship or a tenured associate professorship in cellular structural biology and biophysics. Candidates exploring fundamental questions in modern biology by structural and biophysical techniques including cryo-electron tomography/microscopy or other groundbreaking technologies will be considered.

Your position
The new professor should have a strong research record and excellent communication skills, will complement and enhance the research portfolio of the Biozentrum as well as the broader Basel Life Sciences Community, and will contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Your profile
We are interested in candidates using innovative approaches to explore fundamental questions in biology. They should have a visionary research program and be experts in structural and biophysical methods including cryo-electron tomography/microscopy or other groundbreaking technologies.
