The Communications team is the contact point for the media, facilitating contact to experts for diverse research topics and assisting them with interview planning, video and photo production or search for pictures and images. The team members support the scientists by writing press releases and other texts and provide advice with regard to media requests and public appearances. In addition, they also support the researchers with further services such as the drawing of scientific illustrations, the conception of information campaigns and the design of posters and flyers for events.

Within the Biozentrum, the team promotes the exchange of information through a Newsletter, the Intranet as well as the internal magazine Inhouse. It also maintains contact with Biozentrum alumni and former employees, enabling them to keep up with research and life at the Biozentrum.
