Leica STELLARIS 8 Cryo-Confocal Microscope
Configuration
STELLARIS 8 is a true confocal point scanning system, fitted with a cryo-stage. It includes a White Light Laser (WLL) with a pulse picker as excitation light source, an acousto-optical beam splitter (AOBS®) and a highly sensitive, prism-based spectral detection design with computer controlled adjustable bandwidth for all internal detection channels.
Application
This Leica Stellaris cryo-CLEM system is ideal for pre-screening and target localisation of sample target areas for subsequent FIB milling and Transmission Electron Microscopy. The system is designed to maintain sensitive frozen specimens at cryo-temperatures. This optimisation of the cryo-correlation workflow guides the researcher to pinpoint their areas of interest, enabling more accurate and efficient data collection.
